Perhaps it is has been a few years since you have had your license and you want to to sharpen your skills. Pacific Driver Education can help! Even though you may not need to pass the license test, we can help you improve any skills or clarify anything you need while driving. All students must have a valid Oregon drivers permit, license, or other license granting driving privileges in Oregon. No additional charge to pick you up anywhere in the Portland metro area.

Single lessons are a great way to improve your skills fast! For 1.5 hours for only $125 you will learn so much! Basic maneuvers including starting, stopping, backing, vehicle control, speed control, parking, pulling to and from the curb, right-of-way, and push/pull and hand-over-hand steering. Also you will learn visual sills including the correct mirror settings, targeting, line of sight, path of travel, model driving habits, and reference point concepts.

If you would like private lessons, we also offer a private lesson package! This incldues four 1.5 hour lessons (6 hours total) for only $395 which is a $105 savings. This will include the visual skills to obtain correct information and make reduced-risk driving decisions, vehicle movement in a precise and timely maner to avoid conflict with others, pre-drive procedures including use of vehicle controls, door locks, and head restraints, day-use headlights and use of restraint systems. Also you will learn basic maneuvers that including starting, stopping, backing, vehicle control, speed control, parking , pulling to and from the curb, right-of-way, and push/pull steering and hand-over-hand steering, complex maneuvers including entering and exiting interactions an curves, lane changes, merging, passing, turns in traffic, city driving and various turnabouts. Lastly, you will learn visual skills including automobile mirror usage, as well as current best practices concepts such as targeting, life of sight, path of travel, model driving habits, and reference points!
